In the class, when I showed my work about RMP logo to Mr.Vinod, he noticed me some of my mistakes.

First: Tiger face should touch up and edit and try to be more graphic looking.

Second: Peddy is not set correctly and have to follow some guide line to look better, beside that some of the part inside the peddy is empty and have to cover it up.

Third: Moon and star have to redo to look better.

After I understood about my mistakes, Mr.Vinod helped me to sketch tiger face. After that with Mr.Vinod's help in illustrator I illustrate tiger face one more time.

Then I started to redo peddy as well.

After that, I adjust the Kris and Ilang Sword at the back of Tiger.

Next Part is a ribbon. A made 3 ribbon in 3 different shape and look.

I made three rectangles in same size. I send back 2 of rectangles and cut it from the middle part and connected to up and down.

These 2 ribbons are made of 2 circle but in different shapes. After that I used wrap text to fill it inside the ribbon.

Here are three final logo for RMP.

After some research about Royal Malaysia Police logo, I understood that the main problem in RMP logo is 2 things.

1. Non of Malaysian Kings have crown like what is in RMP logo.

Malaysian Kings has something different than a crown. The crown in RMP logo is mostly look like western and Europe countries kingdom(UK,Spain,Netherland,...).

2.Second error is Paddy flower which is look like a leaf in RMP logo.

Paddy flower and rice is a national sign for Malaysians, but in the logo it is look likes leaf, So better is to refine and make it look like a paddy.

After find out about 2 errors in RMP logo, I decided to change crown to Malaysian traditional crown which is in image below.

In the class,  Mr.Vinood asked us to Redesign or Refine the the RMP logo.

First of all we need little research about Mission, Vision and Objectives.

-Mission:
Protect Malaysia and ensure the environment is safe.

-Vision:
RMP protect nation from any problem and follow the rule and law.

-Objectives:
  1.Decrease Crime
  2.Increase Safety to Citizens
  3.Increase the effect of Law and National Security

Royal Malaysia Police Logo (Original)

-Research

I have done research about the meaning of each sign of RMP(Royal Malaysia Police) logo.

 1.Up of the crown there are 2 signs... Star and moon. Star and moon are the signs for Islam which is official religion of Malaysia.

 2.Crown is panegyric reference to the King of Malaysia and bestowing "Royal" title to it is name. Inside the crown there is 2 word which written in Arabic. Allah (God) and Mohammad (Islam Messenger)

 3.Kris and IIang sword. Kris is very important symbol for Malaysia.This particular weapon was used by Malay warriors in the past. IIang or Klewang is a symbolises to the states of Sarawak and Sabah in the East Malaysia and it represents the spirit of Heroism.

 4.Tiger head. The tiger head symbolises courage, strength and spirits of RMP.

 5.Paddy flower is a reference to paddy and rice, the staple food for Malaysians and it signifies national prosperity.

(RMP used a lion head as the symbol of courage from 16 September 1963, after the formation of Malaysia, until 15 May 1994, when it was replaced with the tiger head by an official order of Malaysian Government.)

After observing to the RMP logo, I decided to Refine the logo. In this case, I re-adjust the tiger face in the middle, Kris and Ilang sword to front of tiger and put crown on the tiger.

Research about Royal Malaysia Police

Our early research is about Royal Malaysia Police.

As Foreigner who lives in Malaysia, it was my first time visiting Malaysia Police Museum, so on 30th of August at 12.50 P.M me and my classmates went to the museum.



First,we started from gallery A. In the begin of gallery A, There was a video presentation which telling you about the history of Malaysia Police and how it founded.After that, we pass throw the gallery and we saw collection of artifacts and information about development of the Malaysia Police.

Beside all of this, There were many memorial gifts from other countries such as U.S,Australia,England,Canada,... given by their police department to Malaysia.

 Second, we went to the gallery B. Inside gallery B mostly was the dress code of the police man and women and what they were wear on those days. On that days, policeman uniform were brown short and shirt with a black hat , and policewomen uniform were blue skirts and shirts with a black hat. Beside uniforms, there were equipment for police force such as a notebook,pen,whistle and gun. In other section, there were medals and symbol of the Malaysia and badge which policeman setup these on his uniforms.

Third, gallery C is about sacrifices of those soldiers and police officers. In that gallery also were war guns and emergency kit of those days from beginning of Royal Malaysia Police until world war II.
